This district, known for its rich history and cultural diversity, comprised princely states like Dhrangadhra, Limbdi, Wadhan, Sayla, and Chuda. Under the benevolent rule of the Zala dynasty, these states thrived and flourished, uniting diverse communities under a shared identity.
The name “Zalawad” symbolizes expansion and unity, reflecting the inclusive moral of our samaj. It evokes a sense of belonging and connection to the region’s heritage, encompassing diverse traditions and customs. About Us
Welcome to KSCK Prerit Shree Zalawad Sarvakalyan Sarvjanik Trust, a beacon of community spirit, cultural heritage, and service-oriented values for over seventy-five years. Established in 1944 AD (Samvat 2000), our samaj stands as a testimonial to the vision and dedication of our founding members, led by the esteemed Sheth Chhotalal Jamnadas.
Rooted in the rich history of Gujarat’s Zalawad district, our society derives its name from the expansive region once governed by the Zala dynasty. Just as the rulers of old united diverse princely states under their benevolent rule, our founders came together with a shared goal: to foster a sense of fraternity among the residents of Zalawad and beyond.
Since our humble beginnings with 80 members, Zalawad Society has flourished into a thriving community of individuals bound by a common value of support, and mutual assistance. Through the years, we have upheld our founding principles, maintaining regular contact and extending a helping hand in times of both joy and sorrow.
At the heart of our samaj lies a commitment to inclusivity and cultural heritage. Drawing inspiration from the traditions of Gujarat, we welcome members from diverse backgrounds, embracing both geographical ties to Limbdi and religious affiliations as idol worshippers in Ahmedabad.
